Multi-state polarization switching and multifunction-integrated terahertz metadevice enabled by inverse resonance responses

Dynamical control of terahertz metadevices and integration versatile functions are highly desired due to increasing practical demands. Here, we propose a multifunctional photosensitive Si hybrid metastructure consisting twisted split-ring resonator pairs that could empower multi-state polarization switching object-recognized imaging. The theoretical simulated results show inverse complete modulation cross-polarized components be realized via tuning the conductivity Si-bridge. calculated ellipticity indicates our possess ability convert linearly polarized light into left-hand circular-polarized or right-hand waves, as well states. Combined with these properties, mono-parameter amplitude imaging amplitude-phase synergistic encryption accomplished. Our research provides new strategy develop reconfigurable in regime.
